I’m like a garden in bloom

The seeds were planted last june

But nothing worth having comes too soon

I’m like a garden in bloom

Buds everywhere as my flowers prepare to intrude

Changing bad moods into good attitudes

Turning heads that are destined stare.

I’m like a garden in bloom

Walk past I guarantee you’ll swoon

Flowers that were once seeds

Now provide your visual needs

So this is what they mean

People say looks can deceive

I’m like a garden in bloom

don't you wish you’d watered me

Payed me some mind

Gave me the time

Nurtured the seeds that produced the fruit

that you are all just now astonished by

I’m like a garden in bloom

The seeds were planted last june

But nothing worth having ever comes too soon
